Biografia

I am Eileen F. Almarales Noy, a young Cuban artist born in 1995, in Minas, Camagüey. I am fluent in Spanish, English and German. I currently live and work as an artist in Halle (Saale), Saxony Anhalt, Germany. I studied between the years 2022-2024 a Meisterschüler in textile art at the University of Art and Design Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. In 2014 I graduated from the painting profile at the Academia de las Artes Vicentina de la Torre in my native Camagüey.

In 2019 I finished my studies at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the ISA, in Havana, Cuba, in this city I lived for 7 years. I have an artistic career of several years in which I have exhibited in countries of America and Europe, such as Germany, United States, Hungary, Mexico, Italy, among others. I have participated in important events such as Triennials and Biennials in the USA and Cuba.

I was also curator of a performance space at the Fábrica del Arte Cubano that was active in the October-December 2018 Trimester and personal assistant to Cuban artist René Rodríguez, and more recently in 2024 I have done an Internship at the Kulturstiftung des Bundes in Germany. my most common artistic media are painting, performance, video, photography and installation.
