Biography

I was born in 1958 in Tehran, Iran, where I attended the Academy of Decorative Arts for two years. In 1978, due to family reasons, I moved to Rome and enrolled at “La Sapienza” University, where I graduated in 1989 with a degree in Literature and Art History.

After completing my studies, I dedicated myself to translation, publishing four works by the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi in Persian. I later turned to painting on paper, taking part in numerous exhibitions with installations and video installations.

After a period of pause, I returned to oil painting and, in recent years, have also devoted myself to collage. I am currently exploring acrylic painting, continuing my artistic research through various media and materials.
