Biography

I was born in Buenos Aires, where I started my artistic studies and then continued them thanks to scholarships in Madrid, Siena and Rome.

In my work I have tried to express my concerns and interests in the problems of our time: social and environmental conflicts, migration.

Being a “migrant” from Latin America”, where my family of origin had come from Europe, I have always kept my Argentine roots where I often return.

I have made several works in which I tell this intense experience of the migrant, always trying that this autobiographical dimension transcends my private life to reach a wider existential dimension.

Twenty years ago, I dealt with environmental issues, creating works that speak of the relationship of the human being with nature. I tried to express how important it is to create a harmonious environment between the human being and the natural environment in which we live, together with the earth, plants and animals.

I often create multimedia installations using different techniques, according to the concept of the work, I try to subordinate the technique and materials to be used to the idea I want to express.

I try not to offer answers or certainties but rather questions, I would like my works to be an invitation to reflect.
